Evangelos Raptis brings to the table twenty years worth of experience as investment banker, venture capitalist and operational CFO.
Evangelos started his career at the Capital Markets desk of JP Morgan (then Chase Investment Bank) in 1993 – closing $1 billion worth of emerging markets’ structured debt transactions out of the London headquarters.
In 1999 he moved to Alpha Bank in Greece as Director of Corporate Finance to manage IPO and M&A deals for growth industries and financial institutions. Soon he phased into the Bank’s proprietary venture capital fund as Director of Investments, focusing on technology start-ups. In 2005 Evangelos switched gear to become Group CFO at Printec – a regional IT integrator (partner of NCR and Verifone) – where he set up the finance, MIS and HR infrastructure for operating entities in 16 countries in SE Europe. In 2010 joined Forthnet – Greece’s largest 3Play (data-voice-payTV) operator) – where he successfully overhauled the finance function and renegotiated €500 mio in debt facilities. Evangelos holds a BA from Swarthmore College and an MS from Brandeis University and has completed Stanford’s Executive MBA for Growing Companies.
For the past ten years Eftychios Tsaousidis has set up and managed financial and MIS infrastructures across industries, leveraging a unique combination of entrepreneurial spirit, financial expertise and organizational development skills. In 2011 he joined Forthnet – Greece’s largest 3Play (data-voice-payTV) operator – as FP&A Director where he successfully launched the group’s financial planning and commercial analytics infrastructure.
Prior to this, Eftychis was a Finance Manager at Nikas, a regional food manufacturing group. During his tenure (2008-2011) he redesigned processes, implemented ERP, developed and managed the MIS for six operating units across four countries in SE Europe. Earlier he had spent five years as FP&A Manager for New Kind, an apparel company with operations in Greece and Bulgaria where he set up the finance function of the local subsidiary.
Eftychios holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from University of Macedonia and an MBA at Manchester Business School.
